Team augmentation simply means an in-house team that has been enhanced by adding specialist members that aren’t part of the original company. This can be on a longer or shorter-term basis, often depending on a particular project or the type of work needed.

This was a totally unheard of and unexpected mass exit from the workforce. All because of & spurred largely by the Covid-19 pandemic. This massive exodus has even been given its own name. It is being referred to in multiple terms such as the Great Resignation, the Big Quit, or the Great Reshuffle. 

Working with a remote & diverse team with team members spread across the whole globe also means working across multiple different time zones. That can cause some challenges, especially when it comes to coordinating everyone’s diaries for meetings and catch-ups.

The traditional working day that has been largely known as 9-5 from the office has, by the looks of things, died. And the remote style of working has become a hot debate especially since Covid hit the world and sent it to lockdown for many months.

Remote teams are now more common and popular than they had ever been. Young professionals are liking the idea of having a job that respects their lives and not the other way around. People enjoy working when it suits them and from wherever they feel most comfortable and creative. Besides, of course, they have the possibility to work on something that is meaningful to them and also benefits the wider society.
